Tree Talks & Walks: Fairview/ Granville Island

Linda and Wendy will lead participants through a walk of Fairview, beginning at Choklit Park on Spruce and 7th Avenue and ending near Granville Island.

Meet Linda Jones and Wendy Cutler
Linda Jones has been a guide at VanDusen Botanical Garden for 7 years. She has had extensive training from Anne Eng, a cherry expert, longtime cherry scout, and also a guide at VanDusen. For many years, Anne was part of a team conducting cherry blossom tours at the VanDusen Sakura Days Festival. Linda joined that team 3 years ago. Linda's love of cherry blossoms is as wide as the world.
Wendy Cutler has been the Cherry Scout Co-ordinator for the VCBF for the past 18 years. She acquired her knowledge about cherry trees in Vancouver from her extensive participation in all educational opportunities that the festival has offered.
